Hadzabe people of Tanzania hunting and gathering in the wild, showcasing traditional cultural practices.

Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire

Depart Arusha and enter Tarangire National Park, beginning your wildlife experience among giant baobabs, open grasslands and seasonal wetlands. Day 3: Tarangire → Lake Eyasi

Leave Tarangire behind and travel towards Lake Eyasi, one of Tanzania's most distinctive cultural landscapes. Spend the day with a local cultural guide learning about traditional ways of life and livelihoods around the lake. Depending on the community experience arranged, you may meet members of the Hadzabe or Datoga communities and gain insight into traditional hunting, gathering, craftsmanship, livestock keeping and local customs. The experience is designed around respectful interaction rather than staged performances.

Day 4: Lake Eyasi → Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy a final morning around Lake Eyasi before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. As you climb into the volcanic highlands, the landscape changes dramatically from the dry lake environment to fertile mountain terrain. Arrive at your premium accommodation and enjoy the remainder of the day surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 5: Ngorongoro → Serengeti

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable morning wildlife experience. After the crater experience, continue towards Serengeti, watching the volcanic highlands gradually give way to the vast plains of the Serengeti ecosystem.

Day 6: Serengeti Full-Day

Enjoy a final morning game drive before leaving the Serengeti. Depending on your travel plans, continue by road towards Arusha or connect with a scheduled safari flight for a more time-efficient departure. Arrive in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.

Accommodation:Serengeti
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7: Serengeti → Arusha

Spend a full day exploring Serengeti with your private guide. With more time in the ecosystem, there is greater freedom to follow wildlife activity rather than rushing between locations. Explore open plains, kopjes and riverine habitats while looking for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffe, zebra and large herbivore herds. Depending on the season, the route can also be adapted around the movement of the Great Migration.
