Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Arusha

Meet your Nawahi team in Arusha and settle into your accommodation. Your private guide will provide a relaxed briefing covering the safari and mountain experiences ahead. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, with an optional city or cultural experience available depending on your arrival time.

Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire

Depart Arusha and begin your wildlife adventure in Tarangire National Park. Explore the park's distinctive landscape of ancient baobabs, open grasslands, woodland and seasonal wetlands. Spend the day on a private game drive, with particular opportunities to encounter large elephant herds alongside giraffe, zebra, buffalo, antelope and predators.

Day 3: Tarangire → Ngorongoro

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. As the landscape rises towards the volcanic highlands, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the dramatic surroundings before your crater experience the following morning.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater → Serengeti

After the crater experience, continue towards Serengeti, entering the vast plains and kopje landscapes of one of Tanzania's most celebrated wildlife ecosystems.

Day 5: Serengeti → Kilimanjaro Foothills
