Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Arusha

Meet your Nawahi team in Arusha and settle into your comfortable accommodation. Your private safari guide will provide a relaxed briefing covering the route, wildlife destinations and experiences ahead. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure or arrange an optional Arusha city or cultural experience.

Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire

Depart Arusha and enter Tarangire National Park for your first full wildlife experience. Explore the park's baobab-studded landscapes, open grasslands, woodland and seasonal wetlands. Search for large elephant herds alongside giraffe, zebra, buffalo, antelope and predators. After your game drive, continue to your comfortable lodge or camp and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 3: Tarangire → Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy a morning wildlife experience in Tarangire before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for an immersive wildlife drive. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and, with luck, black rhino. After the game drive, ascend into the highlands and settle into your accommodation.

Day 4: Ngorongoro → Serengeti

Leave the Ngorongoro Highlands and travel towards Serengeti National Park. As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into vast plains and rocky kopjes. Begin wildlife viewing along the route, with opportunities to encounter wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, elephants and predators. Arrive at your lodge or camp and enjoy the evening in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti Full-Day Safari

Enjoy a full day exploring Serengeti with your private guide. Follow wildlife activity across open plains, kopjes and riverine habitats while searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest. The additional Serengeti day creates a slower rhythm, giving you more time for photography, extended sightings and exploration based on current wildlife movements.

Day 6: Serengeti → Arusha

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before beginning your journey back towards Arusha. Use the cooler morning hours for wildlife viewing before leaving the park. Continue towards Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
