Welcome to Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park is one of the eastern African country of Tanzania and is known for its amazing landscape, natural habitats and animal life. The park gets its name from the large number of lakeshore of Lake Manyara which is a salt lake and is famous for the large number of flamingos that are found there. It is special for its unique combination of habitats—lush groundwater forests, savannas, and the soda lake—making it a great destination for wildlife viewing and bird watching. The park is particularly well-known for its tree climbing lions, a rather unique behavior of a certain subset of lions, and it is still unclear how many lions are in the park. Manyara is also known to have a number of other species such as elephants, giraffe, buffaloes, zebras and baboons. The best period to go to Manyara is during the dry season that is from June to October because the animals are gathered around water sources. Therefore, the beautiful landscapes and the abundant wildlife make it worthwhile to visit Lake Manyara for a safari tour.
