Begin your safari with a scheduled flight from Zanzibar towards the Serengeti. Upon arrival at the appropriate Serengeti airstrip, meet your private safari guide and begin your first game drive as you travel towards your accommodation.
Spend the afternoon exploring the surrounding wilderness, with your guide responding to wildlife activity and recent sightings. Depending on the season and location, you may encounter elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and other wildlife.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti before beginning your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route allows you to experience the dramatic transition from open Serengeti plains to the volcanic highlands.

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater early for a concentrated wildlife experience. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and, with luck, black rhino.
After the crater drive, continue towards Tarangire, arriving later in the day. Depending on timing and conditions, enjoy a short afternoon wildlife experience before settling into your accommodation.
