Meet your Nawahi team in Arusha and begin your journey towards Tarangire National Park. Enter the park and spend the day exploring its distinctive landscapes of ancient baobabs, open grasslands, woodland and seasonal wetlands.
Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant populations, while giraffe, zebra, buffalo, antelope and predators may also be encountered. Your private guide will follow current wildlife activity to make the most of your game-drive time.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you climb towards the volcanic highlands.
Arrive in the Ngorongoro area and settle into your accommodation. The afternoon offers time to relax and appreciate the dramatic scenery surrounding the conservation area before your crater experience the following morning.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Highlands
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater early for a memorable wildlife experience. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
After your game drive, ascend from the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha. Depending on your onward travel plans, you can continue to Arusha city or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
