Meet your Nawahi team in Arusha and begin your journey towards the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Continue to Materuni Village, where a guided walk takes you through lush farmland and forest towards the impressive Materuni Waterfalls.
Along the way, learn about Chagga farming traditions and the crops cultivated around the village. After the waterfall experience, enjoy a traditional Chagga coffee experience, learning how locally grown coffee is prepared from bean to cup. A local lunch can also be arranged before returning towards Arusha.

Leave Arusha and begin your wildlife adventure in Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring a landscape shaped by ancient baobabs, open grasslands, woodland and seasonal wetlands.
Tarangire is particularly famous for its elephants, while giraffe, zebra, buffalo, antelope and a variety of predators may also be encountered. Your private guide will adapt the game-drive route according to wildlife activity and seasonal conditions.

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you climb towards the volcanic highlands.
Arrive in the Ngorongoro area and settle into your accommodation, with time to enjoy the spectacular scenery surrounding the conservation area.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Highlands
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for an immersive morning wildlife experience. The crater floor supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
After the crater experience, begin the journey back to Arusha. Depending on your onward travel plans, you can continue to Arusha city or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
